Republicans are after more than just who we love, how we identify and what we do with our bodies. They don’t want us to even fantasize about sex—so they also want to ban porn.
Just read page 5 of Project 2025: “Pornography should be outlawed. The people who produce and distribute it should be imprisoned.”
And Republicans have already taken steps to regulate and shut down pornography. Because they can’t stand the thought of anyone enjoying themselves.
This includes Virginia, Montana, North Carolina, Arkansas, Utah, Mississippi and Texas – to follow new state laws that cracked down on online porn.
Rep. Ann Wagner (R-MO) wants to shut down OnlyFans because she claims it promotes child pornography. But anyone who uses OnlyFans knows you must show ID to prove you are over 18.
Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson and his son use software called Covenant Eyes to make sure neither of them are looking at online porn. Because I mean, that’s totally not weird. Right?
It’s not just adult content. The Project 2025 foreword says pornography includes “transgender ideology” and “educators and public librarians who purvey it should be classified as registered sex offenders.”
Republican bullies want to make life difficult for LGBTQ+ people. Why do they care so much about us? Leave us alone!
